Series RV F

Series RV F represents an innovative evaporating apparatus with mechanical recompression of the secondary steam and using the thermal loops, thus reducing the system power consumption to a minimum (35 kW per m3 of distillate), including to abandon the use of fresh steam and other types of coolants.

In the boiling chamber is maintained vacuum. Generated secondary steam is compressed by a compressor to the pressure of heating steam and used to heat the circulating solution passing through a horizontal heat exchanger-condenser of special design. Having given heat, a secondary steam devaporates (condenses) and is distributed as a distillate. The heat of the distillate is used for heating the solution before entering the boiling chamber also is used to heat the concentrate prior to issuance.

The system is equipped with multiple stages of secondary steam/distillate purification (cleaning), including coalescence separator, the packed bed, fine filters. Provided defoamers, dispensers for additives of various components, automatic flushing system.

Circulation in the system of forced, which provides a high turbulent flow regime phases, and, consequently, greatly increases heat transfer and preclude the emergence of stagnant zones and incrustations on the heating surfaces.

Series RV N

RV N series represents the innovative series of the RV line, designed for oily wastewater treatment in the Mechanical and Surface Treatments Segments.

Each model is skid mounted (small footprint), modular, flexible, fully automatic and ready to use thanks to the Plug & Play system.

The Mechanical Vapour Recompression Natural Circulation allows to separate water from non aggressive wastewater containing oil, heavy metals and dissolved salts and to recover valuable products when possible.

Series RV C

The evaporator of RV C series is based on the falling film technology as mechanical vapor recompression system. Wastewater flows down on the internal walls of the heat exchanger tubes, while the vapor produced condensates on the external walls of the same tubes.

Series PC F

PC F series evaporators operate in a high vacuum condition, with the boiling chamber pressure set at 5-6 kPa (absolute vacuum), in order to save the thermal energy produced by the heat pump. In this way the boiling temperature of the wastewater is approximately 40°C (104°F) and typical phenomena (scaling, precipitation, corrosion) which may reduce the performance are either eliminated or considerably reduced.

Series PC R

The PC R series evaporators have a heating system based on a heat pump and operate under vacuum at 5kPa and around 30°C (86°F).

Heat exchange occurs within a conical jacket, and the boiling chamber inside part is cleaned by internal scrapers that continuously stir concentrate. This configuration is designed to produce a concentrate with a high final concentration and a distillate with low conductivity.

Series AC F

AC F series evaporators for wastewater treatment is the hot/cold water evaporators with forced circulation and external shell & tube heat exchanger. The heat necessary to boil the wastewater is supplied by hot water running into the heat exchanger; the cooling necessary to condensate the steam is supplied by cold water running into the heat exchanger at the top of the boiling chamber.

Use of the existing heating and cooling water provides a cost effective solution by reducing the operating costs.

The AC series is able to handle a variety of wastewater and, thanks to the forced circulation, reduction of fouling and scaling phenomena is achievable.

Series AC R

AC R is the hot/cold water evaporator/crystallizer with stirred and scraped heat exchanger surface that transfers heat by heating jacket containing circulating hot water.

This series is designed to treat wastewater containing a high concentration of suspended and dissolved solids. That is the reason why within the boiling chamber wastewater is stirred continuously by an Archimedes screw type scraper, preventing any fouling of the heat exchange surface.

The evaporator produces a distillate recyclable, since free of dissolved salts, and a solid or semisolid concentrate with a water content lower than 15%.

The AC R evaporators are designed to work both continuously and by batch, by using a pump to discharge the concentrate or by stopping the evaporation process by opening the front door and leaving the screw working.

With the addition of an optional intermediate heat exchanger AC R evaporators can also utilize steam as a heat source.
