Cleaning hot gases from impurities
Gas after kilns or other high-temperature processes can be contaminated with solid particles and gaseous combustion products: nitrogen oxides, sulfur, etc.
To clean it, the following scheme is proposed:
1. The gas is cooled in a Venturi scrubber, whereby solid particles are trapped and gaseous compounds are absorbed by a scrubbing solution, for example, for acidic compounds, a NaOH solution.
