Сhemical Engineering Solutions company is completing the installation of a filter press at one of the chemical plants

We supply and supervise the installation and commissioning of a complex filtration unit consisting of a filter press with a plate size of 2000x2000 mm and an aspiration system for the removal of associated gases.

The filter press is equipped with 141 Lenser filter plates (Germany), which corresponds to 140 filter chambers. Advantages of the proposed equipment:

• The filter press has a frame design with double guides for the upper suspension of the plates, which allows for the installation/dismantling of the plates from the top and side of the filter press, which significantly reduces downtime during equipment maintenance;
• The drip collector has a design that allows for servicing the filter press without the use of additional equipment;
• The design of the filter press with an upper suspension provides for a filter plate shaking system, which improves sediment descent and reduces the filtration cycle time;
• The filter press performance is 40% higher than that of existing filter presses, due to the special geometry of the filter chambers;
• Lenser membrane filter plates of RUM design (applied membrane made of TPE) allow operation without the use of pressure rings, which also affects the equipment maintenance/downtime.
