Delivery of a fluidized bed dryer to one of the leading metallurgical plants
Chemical Engineering Solutions company is working on the delivery of a comprehensive copper sulfate drying system based on a vibrating fluidized bed dryer designed and manufactured in the Russian Federation.
The customer was faced with the task of upgrading the existing production and increasing the productivity of process lines.
One of the customer's production lines had a Dutch-made vibrating fluidized bed dryer installed, which had proven itself in operation. However, due to the introduction of sanctions, the Dutch company refused further cooperation, and the customer decided to search for domestic manufacturers capable of reproducing a similar system.
Our employees conducted a full survey of the existing drying line, and also took into account the wishes and comments of the operating personnel. Based on the information received, the design documentation necessary for the manufacture of the equipment was developed and agreed upon with the customer.
The solutions we presented fully met the requirements of the customer's technical specifications, essentially repeating the existing Dutch-made line. However, in our case, all equipment is manufactured at partner plants in Russia, which completely eliminates sanctions risks and improves the economic component of the project.
Note that the selection was made on the basis of a tender procedure, in which we proved our technical and economic advantages when compared with both Russian and foreign suppliers from Turkey and China.
The equipment is scheduled to be delivered to the customer's site at the end of 2024, after which our specialists will carry out installation supervision and commissioning work, and train personnel to operate the equipment.

- Two-zone fluidized bed vibration dryer. A special feature of this type of dryer is the use of a special crank-type vibration drive, which, unlike the frequently used spring supports, allows for more stable fluidized bed parameters and material transportation inside the dryer, helping to increase drying efficiency, reduce air consumption (and, consequently, energy costs) and reduce the entrainment of finely dispersed material;
- Blower and exhaust fans;
- Steam heat exchanger with shut-off valves;
- Bag filter for cleaning the outgoing drying air;
- Connecting air ducts and valves;
- Screw conveyors for transporting material;
- Instrumentation and control cabinet.
