Modernization of equipment is to bring it into line with new requirements and norms, technical conditions and quality indicators at the present stage of development of science and technology.

You can often find a situation that used equipment does not meet requirements. This can be as a result of errors in the design stage and delivered the piece of equipment with reduced performance, poor quality or incorrectly selected, designed, and , consequently, an inefficient machine, and in the case of already obsolete design techniques.

Having rich knowledge in the field of chemical engineering and working in partnership with many design organizations in Russia and abroad, we have been auditing various technology nodes with the objective of identifying retrofit opportunities as individual pieces of equipment and entire process lines in General.

The task consisted in the replacement of wooden plates and frames because of the expense which the company had to hold a workshop for their manufacture. A package of chamber filter plates made of polypropylene was produced. Removal of load speed has increased. Plate no fail any more.

FRAME PLATES SET at FILTER PRESS BMZ "PROGRESS" (UKRAINE) made of cast iron REPLACEMENT TO a POLYPROPYLENE CHAMBER at JSC "Chepetsky mechanical plant" (Rosatom).

The task was to replace the iron quickly corrosive plates, which fail filter fabric. Was made a package of chamber filter plates, including adapter plate. Unloading speed and performance after the upgrade has increased. The service life of the filtration fabric is increased.

MODERNIZATION of the MEMBRANE FILTER PRESS Diemme filtration (Italy) on the dehydration of sludge neutralization products of purification of waste furnace gases.

Scope of work included: audit, design, manufacturing rods of hydraulic cylinders, carriages and other elements of the moving plates, repair plates plates, hydraulic adjustment and automatic filter press. The result is increased filter capacity by 43%.Reducing the time of drying the precipitate in 10 times.

Modernization of the chamber-membrane filter press Outotec (Finland) on production of copper concentrate.

Scope of work included: auditing, design of filter plates, of plate spreading and attachment of the filter cloth, the further their manufacture, installation and commissioning of the equipment. Result: the moisture content of copper concentrate decreased from 10 to 7%, and discharge for cycle increased by 22.2%.
