Technology AKW A+V for the closed cycle grinding - classification

Hydrocyclones AKA-VORTEX are widely used in classifying fine-grained materials of various minerals, especially when grinding. Being an important and affordable component of wet process mechanical separation and classification of hydrocyclones AKA-VORTEX are made from modern high-strength materials capable of withstanding the corrosive working environments across the range of pH and abrasiveness.

The principle of operation of hydrocyclones is as follows: initial pulp under pressure (from 0.4 to 3.5 Bar) is supplied through the nozzle tangentially to the inner surface of the cylindrical part of the hydrocyclone and in it acquires a rotational motion. Heavy and large particles under the action of centrifugal forces is discarded to the walls of the apparatus and the downward spiral flow moving down razhruzhaly through the nozzle Sands. Small particles together with the bulk water form the inner flow that rises up, and carried through the drain tube.

Advantages:

  1. Optimum performance of the separation with an unstable production environment

  2. Integration into the existing technological chain of machines

  3. A wide range of split fractions d50 of 2 µm to 180 µm

  4. The modular design and the wide range of adapters allow you to adjust the classification process

Scope of application:

  • minerals (kaolin, feldspar, talc, chalk, quartz, gypsum, bentonite, zircon);

  • ores (iron, bauxite, zinc, tin, manganese, chromite, niobium, tantalum);

  • chemical intermediates;

  • alumina;

  • mineral raw materials and by-products (e.g., foundry sand, slag, sludge, Si-SiC, abrasives).

Modular construction

More than 3000 names of the constituent parts to assemble the cyclone, the desired geometry, with the desired resilience to the material. Makes it possible to accurately adjust how the separation time (the time the separation medium in the device) and the hydrodynamic aspects involved in the effective allocation of the conditional particle in full

Materials sand/drain nozzles

The drain and sand nozzle, exposure of the abrasive, and the constant geometry which is the key to quality classification, available from:

  • Polyurethane

  • Casting polymers (polyamide, PVDF)

  • Oxide ceramics

  • Ceramics based on silicon carbide

  • Chromium steel, chromium-Nickel steel
